Beginner Typing Lessons – Learn Keyboarding from Scratch

If you are a newbie, you should start right here. Most people try to type with too much emphasis on being fast from the start, but that only makes more mistakes happen and breeds frustration. The better approach is to develop a solid foundation first.

The first part gets you used to all the keys on the keyboard — letters, numbers and symbols. It’s perfectly normal to look at the keyboard at first. Don’t worry about that. But, repeated use of your fingers will gradually recall to you where each key is.

The objective here is simple: get comfortable. Type correctly, not quickly. Once your accuracy improves, speed will follow naturally.

Attempt to use both hands and follow finger placement. Stay glued to that screen at all as possible. It may seem challenging at the start, but it becomes easier with practice.

Errors are a part of learning. Don’t dwell on them — just move ahead. The more you practice, the more typing will feel like normal.

Begin with the below lessons one step at a time. Keep the consistency, no matter if you practicing for short time daily. That consistency firing, is what actually matters.
